The Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Scholarship is organized by the NLNG and open to all undergraduate students of Nigerian universities. It comes in two categories:
- Operation Areas Award and
- National Merit Award
The operational areas award comprises of payment of yearly stipend of N100,000 to indigenous students while the national merit awards pay off successful students with N300,000 one time payment.
It comes up annually and in some cases bi-annually as deemed necessary by the Company's Scholarship Management Body. The competition is very tough and only little slots are available on state-quota basis.
