The Ekiti State Government has directed the closure of all schools prior to the #EndSars Protest.

This information was disclosed by the State Commissioner for Education  Science and Technology,  Dr. Kofoworola Aderiye in a statement issued by the Chief Information Officer, Abimbola Dada on Tuesday at the state capital.

He stated that the decision to close all schools was a proactive measure taken to safeguard the lives of the students, pupils, teachers, and staff of the various academic institutions.

The Commissioner who said the closure was also to accommodate those who encounter difficulty in getting to their respective schools, said that schools will resume on the 26th of October.
