Akwa Ibom State University has reopened her Institution for the continuation of the 2019/2020 academic session and on Wednesday 30th September they commenced examinations for the first semester, the examinations were written by 300 and 400 level students of the institution. 

Despite the prolonged vacation, the school still maintains its high standard discipline, the management insisted that students must obey all COVID 19 safety measures and Just like other exams,  we noticed social distancing in the exam halls, compulsory use of face masks by students, and staff, wash hand basins were also placed at strategic points in the institution amongst others.
