Federal Government has resolved to meet the Leadership body of ASUU to sort things out and put an end to the prolonged company strike.

Mr. Charles Akpan the Deputy Director of Press and Public Relations at the ministry hinted that “Ngige will be hosting a meeting with the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) on Thursday, October 15, 2020”.

The government’s negotiating team led by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige had met with the union yesterday to deliberate on the possibility of accepting the University Transparency Account Systems (UTAS) payment platform developed by the University Lecturers.
