The Federal Government had on Tuesday announced the closure of the Batch C N-Power registration which closed on August 9.

This was announced by the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development. The ministry had initailly slatted July 26 as the closing date for registration, but later extended the registration to two weeks to accomodate more applictions.

It further said  that a total of 5,042,001 Nigerian youths applied for the scheme. Recall that the N-power throught its official Twitter and Facebook handles had earlier announced that it would enroll about 400,000 Batch C beneficiaries.

The Ministry further reassured Nigerians of its determination to practicing a diligent and transparent selection of only qualified applicants, and also to keep on-the-know all applicants and the general public on the progress of the scheme, and that women and persons with disability would be prioritised during the selection.
