In response to the request from applicants and the broader community, the Vice-Chancellor has granted an extension for the deadline for PostUTME/DE registration until Monday, January 8, 2024.
Eligibility for Applying:
Applicants who expressed a preference for Law but achieved scores ranging from 150 to 219 will be evaluated for admission into alternative programs within the Faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, and Education. Similarly, candidates aspiring for Medicine and Surgery, as well as Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D), with scores between 150 and 219, will be considered for admission into Anatomy, Physiology, and other Science programs.
Individuals applying for Nursing Science, Radiography and Radiation Science, and Medical Laboratory Science, with scores between 150 and 199, will be reviewed for potential admission into alternative Science programs.
Both Direct Entry (DE) and Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidates are required to upload their O level results and higher qualifications on the JAMB portal. Additionally, they must complete the Universitys screening exercise.
Aspiring candidates for the Doctor of Pharmacy (a newly introduced program) are advised to effect a program change on the JAMB portal to reflect their preference.
How do I apply for BSU PostUTME:
Visit the official Benue State University website at https://bsum.edu.ng and navigate to the Admissions menu.
Within the APPLICATIONS section, select Post UTME/DE.
Input your JAMB Registration Number and click on Verify.
Once your status is confirmed, click on PROCEED to access the E-Payment Platform. Payments can be made in cash at any bank of your choice or online using Quick Teller.
A mandatory screening fee of two thousand Naira (N2,000) is applicable for all candidates.
After completing the payment, return to the BSU website. Click on ADMISSIONS and then on Upload documents for PUTME. Enter your Registration Number and proceed to fill in the Biodata and all required sections.
Upload essential documents such as WAEC/NECO/NABTEB Certificates or statements of results (not online slips) as applicable.
