BUK Direct Entry Application 2020/2021 academic session

Prospective candidates of Bayero University(BUK) are hereby informed that the Institution Direct Entry Application form is still on sale, The general entry requirements for the Part-time degree programs are OND (with merit), NCE, IJMB (with a minimum of 8 points), GCE ‘A’ Level (3 credits) and HND (Pass).

Eligibility:

Applicants must possess all the necessary ‘O’ Level requirements applicable to the regular full-time undergraduate admissions. This means that credit in the English Language is compulsory for all courses applied, while Mathematics is necessary for science-based courses and the social sciences.

Procedures for Application:

  1. Visit the institutions portal here http://mybuk.buk.edu.ng/bukdes/
  2. Login through https://mybuk.buk.edu.ng/bukdes/bukdes_login.php where you will provide your D.E number,  State of Origin, and Gender.
  3. Applicants are to provide their Date of birth, LGA, Phone Number used when registering with JAMB, the Email address used when registering with JAMB, alternate Phone number (if any), alternate Email address (if any), Next of Kin, Phone Number of next of kin and Contact Address. Applicants cannot change their full name and state of origin.
  4. After a Successful profile update, you can now update your OLevel results, Please ensure all information provided is correct, or else the applicant could be disqualified, You are allowed to provide a maximum of two OLevel results.
  5. Click on the check to accept that all documents are correct.
  6. You can view the result you have submitted as indicated in the following figure.
  7. Note: If you want to update/change your result, you have to resubmit all the information and previous information will be replaced with the updated information.
  8. After successfully updating your ‘O’ Level results, you can then update your ‘A’ Level results. Note that supplying false information will result in disqualification. You are to supply ONLY ONE ‘A’­–Level results. NCE holders are to supply the Education subject information first followed by two (2) teaching subjects. Double major holder should repeat their teaching subject twice.
  9. After successfully updating your ‘O’ Level results, you are ready to generate the BUK Personalised Payment Form (BUKPPF). The BUKPPF includes information needed to make payment through the Remita e-Payments platform. Clicking on the Generate Your BUKPPF button generates the BUKPPF so that you can download and print it.
  10. After successfully generated BUKPPF and using the Remita e-Payments platform a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number is generated for you. The RRR uniquely ties your payment to your application account. After obtaining your RRR, take it to any bank and make the payment or use proceed to pay for online payment.
  11. After your payment has been verified and processed you can proceed to print your acknowledgement slip.

Please Note:

  • Payment at the Banks will be closed on Friday 2nd October 2020.
  • A comprehensive list of those who have met the screening requirements will be published and updated from time to time on the University website – please check www.buk.edu.ng

Candidates who fail to do the ON-LINE SCREENING will not be considered.
