EBSU initially had a student which is known as iportal, before the Tenece portal came in the formal EBSU student portal was iportal.ebsu.edu.ng, athough the portal is still active online but it is not in use anymore the EBSU Tenece portal that is currently in use by students is portal.ebsu.edu.ng,  

How to create an account on the EBSU Tenece Portal

Firstly, we will begin with how students can register/create an account on the Tenece portal.

1. To create an account visit the EBSU student portal https://portal.ebsu.edu.ng/StudentVerification.aspx
2. Enter your JAMB Reg number, and School Reg number to commence application.
3. Click on Submit to verify
4. After you have been verified, your first password should be password1, you can change the password on your dashboard when you login.

How to Login the EBSU student portal

1. Visit https://portal.ebsu.edu.ng/login.aspx
2. Enter your JAMB Reg number or School reg Number
3. Enter password (the first password should be password1, unless if you have made changes to it)
4. Click on submit to login

How to Change Password on the EBSU portal

To change your password on EBSU students, you can either do it before you login to the students dashboard, just by following the steps below.

1. On the Login interface
2. Click on the forgotten password
3. You will be required to enter your email address
4. The new password will be sent by Tenece to your portal
5. If the password change is not sent to your email, contact the Tenece portal support team

OR you can change the password on your user dashboard by following the steps below:

1. After you have logged in to the students dashboard
2. Click on Profile details
3. Click on Change password
4. You will be required to enter your old password and new password and confirm the new password
5. Click the change password button to successfully change the password.

How to register for courses on the EBSU portal

1. Login to your students dashboard here https://portal.ebsu.edu.ng/login.aspx
2. An interface will appear for you to enter the academic session e.g. 2023/2024 session
3. Enter session, click on submit
4. Click Course Registration and then click on Register course
5. Select the session, and semester and click on submit
6. You will see a list of courses that you can register
7. After selecting courses, click on the Register button.
8. You can proceed to print out the registered courses.

How to generate school fee remita on the EBSU students portal

1. Login EBSU students portal here https://portal.ebsu.edu.ng/login.aspx
2. Click on School fees >> select Generate school fee invoice
3. You will receive a remita code, you can proceed to the bank to pay with the remita number or pay directly from the EBSU portal.
4. After payment, go back to your student dashboard, under the school fee, select check RRR status
5. Enter your Remita number to confirm that you have made payment.

How to pay school fees installmentally

1. Login EBSU portal
2. Select school fee
3. You will see an option for installmentall school fee payment

How to generate/pay Extra year school fees on EBSU student portal

1. Login EBSU student portal
2. Enter session which is the current session eg. 2023/2024
3. Select school fee
4. Select the level
5. Generate Remita
6. You can proceed to make payment via Remita or in the Bank using RRR number

Note: the school fee, Departmental, and Faculty payments are all together and must be payed

How to Check Results on the EBSU Tenece Portal

1. Visit https://portal.ebsu.edu.ng/login.aspx
2. Enter the reg number and password
3. Click submit
4. Select the session e.g. 2023/2024
5. Select Results >> Student sessional result
6. Select session
7. Click on submit to view the result

How students can pay acceptance fees through the EBSU portal

You should have an account on the EBSU portal to be able to pay the EBSU acceptance fee, if you already have an account on the EBSU portal, follow these steps:

1. Visit https://portal.ebsu.edu.ng/login.aspx
2. Enter Jamb reg number and password
3. Click submit
4. Select the session and click submit
5. Click on “Acceptance”
6. Select “Pay acceptance fee”
7. You can pay through remita or go to the bank to complete the payment

How to check Admission Status on EBSU Tenence porta 2024

With the school administration releasing the Admission list for the 2024 Academic session, students can now proceed if they have been offered provisional admission into the institution EBSU, below are the procedures to check admission status on the EBSU Tenence portal.

1. Visit the tenence admission portal here https://portal.ebsu.edu.ng/modules/admission/CheckAdmissionStatus.aspx
2. Click on Session to Select Session from the dropdown list
3. Enter your JAMB registration number
4. Click on Proceed to check admission

How to confirm Admission status on the EBSU portal

Firstly create an account on the EBSU portal here portal.ebsu.edu.ng, you can proceed with the following steps:

1. Login to the EBSU portal  https://portal.ebsu.edu.ng/login.aspx
2. Select session e.g. 2023/2024
3. Click on Admission on the left pane
4. Select “Confirm Admission status”
5. Select session
6. Enter JAMB reg number
7. Click on submit

How to register carryover courses and how to register extra year courses on the EBSU student portal

If you are still a student and haven’t been recorded as a graduate yet, you don’t have to bother yourself about registering your carryover courses as the portal automatically selects the course for you but you will have to register them yourself, for Extra year course registration, you have to do that manually, see the steps to register extra year courses below:

Note: Course registration is only open to students who have paid their sessional school fees, departmental dues, and faculty dues for the 2023/2024 session

1. Login to the Tenece portal
2. Select the session you are writing the extra year courses
3. Select the level
4. Click on submit
5. Select the extra year courses
6. Click on Register
