Gombe State has announced her plans for reopening of schools in the state, This information was made known by the state commissioner for Education,  Dr. Habu Dahiru.

The Commissioner said boarding schools in the state will reopen on October 4, 2020, while day schools comprising of primary and secondary schools in the state will resume on October 5, 2020.

He stated that the third term of the 2019/2020 academic session will be rounded up in three weeks.

Dr. Dahiru further revealed that the first term for the next session will run for an eight weeks period starting from October 25, 2020, and ending on December 18, 2020, the second term will run for 14 weeks, resuming on January 10, 2021, and ending April 16, 2021, whereas the third term will begin May 2, 2021, to August 6, 2021, for a fourteen weeks duration.
