Important Tips to Note when applying for NYSC Revalidation;
In the NYSC Revalidation process, a Prospective Corps Member is required to undergo a procedure aimed at updating their previously registered information on the NYSC portal. This process essentially makes it seem like the Prospective corps member is signing up for the service for the first time, even though they have done so in the past.
Revalidation typically coincides with the opening of NYSCs portal for new registrations. It operates concurrently, meaning that as soon as the portal becomes accessible, the revalidation link becomes active for individuals who were previously mobilized as PCMs but did not report to the camp during a prior batch.
Its important to note that if you failed to report to camp in Stream 1 of a specific batch, you cannot revalidate for the subsequent stream. Instead, NYSC will automatically revalidate you for Stream 2, or you must wait until the next batch to initiate the revalidation manually.
Prospective corp members who were assigned to a state but, for various reasons, couldnt attend the NYSC orientation camp are eligible to request NYSC revalidation.
Note: NYSC Revalidation can only be done in batches and not in streams.
