The management of the Ignatius Aguru University of Education strictly condemns the gang rape of a female student recently by some male students of the University in one of the male hostels at the Rumuolumeni Campus. This incident which is already in the public domain has portrayed the University in a bad light and attracted negative publicity.

Consequently, the University Administration has banned all visits of male students to female hostels at ALL TIME with immediate effect.

Anyone caught will face severe consequences which may lead to expulsion from the University. By this notice the Ag. Dean of Students Affairs, Wardens of Students, and Hostel Porters and Potresses are to enforce strict compliance.

Porters and Portresses will face unpleasant consequences in case of any observed lapses in the hostels of their primary assignment.
