This is to inform the general public, particularly potential students, that Imo State University, Owerri, has commenced the application for the 2023/2024 POST-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise, Application commenced Monday, 14th August 2023, and concluding on 15th September 2023.

Eligibility For applying for IMSU PostUTME 2023:

1. Applicants need to select Imo State University, Owerri as their top preference and achieve a minimum score of 160 in the UTME.
2. If candidates didnt initially select Imo State University as their first choice but achieved the necessary cut-off score, they still have a chance. They just need to go to the JAMB website and switch their first-choice institution to Imo State University, Owerri.
3. For Direct Entry, applicants should hold qualifications like OND/HND/First Degree, A Level, or their equivalents in relevant subjects
4. Candidates need to make sure their qualifying results have been uploaded to JAMB. If theyre waiting for their O Level results, its important to upload them to JAMB as soon as theyre available.

Note: Candidates who dont upload their results to JAMB wont be considered for admission.

How to apply for IMSU PostUTME 2023

i. Go to the Universitys official website: https://www.imsuonline.edu.ng/putme/

ii. Complete the payment and form as provided.

iii. Print out the payment and acknowledgment slips, then submit them to the Admissions Unit at Imo State University.

FOR DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES, besides the online application, its essential to ensure that your OND/HND/First Degree transcripts, O and A Level results, or their equivalents are sent to the Registrar of Imo State University, Owerri.
