The 333 kidnapped students of government science secondary school, kankara local government, Katsina state have been rescued on the 17 December 2020.

Recall that the Boko Haram insurgents had earlier released a video claiming it had custody of the students.

The personal assistant on new media to the president, Bashir Ahmed had made an announcement via his Twitter handle that the Kidnapped Students have been released, The news was also confirmed by the Katsina state government.
