The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is offering MasterCard Foundation Scholarships for Ghanaian and African students to pursue undergraduate studies in the 2024/2025 academic year.

 

About the Scholarship

The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at KNUST provides academically talented yet economically disadvantaged young people in Ghana and Africa with access to quality and relevant university education. The scholarship covers the full cost of tuition, fees, accommodation, learning materials, a monthly stipend, and other expenses.

Eligibility

  • Be a citizen of a sub-Saharan African country
  • Have excellent academic performance
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Be committed to returning to your home country and contributing to its development
  • Be enrolled or applying to an undergraduate program at KNUST

Priority will be given to:

  • Females
  • Displaced persons (certified refugees and internally displaced persons)
  • Persons with disabilities
