This is to inform prospective candidates of Maritime Academy Of Nigeria(MAN Oron) that the Institutions Post-UTME form, cut-off mark, eligibility, application fee, deadline, and registration details for the 2020/2021 Academic Session is currently on sale.
Therefore candidates who are interested in the institution National Diploma Program are requested to apply as the Registration commences from 12th October 2020.
Duration of Program: 2years
Deadline for Registration: 20th November 2020.
Cutoff-Mark: The minimum score accepted by MAN Oron is 160 and 175, depending on your course chosen.
Cost Of Application: NGN2000.

Eligibility:
- Candidate must possess a five(5) credit inclusive of English and Mathematics in any of this SSCE/WASSCE/NECO/NABTEB/GCE
- Candidates who made the Maritime Academy of Nigeria as their First(1st) Choice Institution in the 2020/2021 UTME and scored above the required cut-off Mark as stated below are eligible for screening.
- Candidates seeking admission into the Academy must have a functional and accessible electronic mail address (E-mail) and mobile phone number.
- Candidates are required to possess the following:
- A minimum of 175 marks in the 2020/2021 UTME for:
Nautical Science
Marine Engineering and
Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- A minimum score of 160 in the 2020/2021 UTME for Maritime Transport and Business Studies.
- Candidate must possess the correct JAMB subject combinations for each course of Interest.

Physical and Medical Fitness
- Due to the peculiar requirements of the Institution and the maritime industry as well as the International Convention on Standard of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping (STCW) 95 as amended in 2010 which mandates all seafarer to be physically and mentally fit to work in the maritime industry, all applicants are expected to be physically and mentally fit to be able to withstand the rigors/challenges of the cadetship training.
- Candidate must undergo some medical tests at any Government Hospital and upload their medical status on the application portal. The list of medical tests can be found on the application portal dashboard.
- Candidate should print-out Application Medical Examination Form (Form M) from the application portal. This form should be duly completed and signed before uploading on the portal.
Marital Status
- The applicant must be single and shall remain single throughout the duration of the program.
Age Limit
- Candidates applying for Nautical Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, and Marine Engineering must be between the ages of 16 and 21 as of 20th November 2020.
- Candidates applying for Maritime Transport and Business Studies must be between the ages of 16 and 25 as of 20th November 2020.
Screening Fee: N2,000.00
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
Eligible candidate should log on to the Academy website www.maritimeacademy.gov.ng and take the following steps:
- Click on Admission – HND/ND Registration Portal
- Login with UTME number as Username and Jamb Score as Password
- Generate and Print the Payment Slip
- Proceed to any of the banks listed on the application portal dashboard to make payment using the eTranzact Payment Platform or pay online
- Return to the Academy Portal to Complete the Registration form.
