The Government of Ondo State has pledged her support in the development of the state, this was noted in the statement of the State Deputy Governor, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu.

The Deputy Governor said Our efforts on entrepreneurship and self-development of the youths shall be redoubled going further. The state government is more prepared than ever before, to provide the necessary atmosphere for human capital development.

“Similarly, our technical/vocational education sector shall receive better attention. In a matter of weeks, the government shall, alongside stakeholders, have a critical appraisal of the sector to strengthen it for the maximum benefits of our teeming youths. All over the world, vocations have made more meaningful impacts on society.

He also noted that all the schools (from primary to tertiary) in the state which had been shut since last week following the protest would remain shut until further notice.
