The Federal Bilateral Education Scholarship Awards provide an opportunity for eligible and interested Nigerians to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies abroad. The scholarship, administered by the Ministry of Education, covers various fields of study and is available for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) levels.
Scholarship Details:
UG Studies: Tenable in Russia, Morocco, Hungary, Egypt, and Algeria.
PG Studies: Tenable in Russia (for those with degrees from Russia), China, Hungary, Serbia, Romania.
General Information:
Applicants for non-English speaking countries should be prepared for a mandatory one-year foreign language course in the chosen country, which will be the medium of instruction.
Hungarian Scholarship applicants can apply for up to two fields of study in order of preference. The application window is open from mid-November to January 16, 2024.

Eligible Field of Study:
UG Level: Engineering, Geology, Agriculture, Sciences, Mathematics, Environmental Sciences, Sports, Law, Social Sciences, Biotechnology, Architecture, Medicine (limited), Pilot Engineering, Neurologist.
PG Level: Masters and PhD in all fields.
Eligible Countries: Nigeria
Eligibility:
UG Scholarships: Minimum of Seven (7) Distinctions (As & Bs) in relevant subjects in WASSCE/WAEC. Certificates should not be more than two years old (2022 & 2023). Age limit is 17 to 20 years.
PG Scholarships: First Degree with 1st Class or at least 2nd Class Upper Division. Completed N.Y.S.C. Programme. Age limit is 35 years for Masters and 40 years for Ph.D.

All documents must be uploaded on the Russian Application portal in PDF format.
Required Documents:
UG: WAEC/WASSCE & NIN Slip
PG: 1st Degree Certificate, NIN Slip & NYSC discharge or exemption Certificate.
Submission Requirements:
Candidates nominated by the Board must submit to the Federal Scholarship Board the following:
Authenticated copies of academic certificates.
Data page of the current International passport.
Specified Medical Reports from Government Hospitals.
Birth Certificate & Indigene letter.
Police Clearance Certificate where necessary.
